Lil was first licensed as a Realtor in Colorado in 1977. Shortly thereafter she and her family moved to Washington State, where she practiced real estate sales in the Tri-City area of Eastern Washington for many years. Though she had planned to retire in 2000, she resumed her real estate career after arriving here in Sequim.
Lil’s clients appreciate her communication skills and her dedication to meeting their needs. She has built these skills throughout her real estate career. She has years of experience as a local estate sales consultant and planner and puts that knowledge to use when assisting her Sellers in preparing to move.
Away from the office Lil enjoys traveling, visiting her children and grandchildren, and spends some of her spare time quilting. Her quilts can be found at local, seasonal craft shows and bazaars.
Before he began his career in real estate, Tom Hanna was a contractor who specialized in new construction and remodeling for over three decades. He prided himself then on his attention to details, craftsmanship, and reliability. He brings those very same qualities, along with a knack for anticipating problems and solving them quickly, to the services he provides as a broker.
Tom is known for his diligence and intuition. He listens closely, advises carefully, and advocates fiercely and fairly. He works tirelessly to create a positive experience for both sides in any property transaction. His approach is direct and successful. He matches clients to the right property and pledges himself to uphold honest and fair transactions.
Tom is a Pacific Northwest native who enjoys crabbing in the Dungeness waters, fishing the local rivers, boating on Lake Crescent, and hiking in Olympic National park. He is married and has three adult children.
Rod Normandin received his Washington State real estate license in 1983. Rod is well respected in the real estate community, and he brings years of experience in residential and land sales to BrokerGroup. He is equipped to handle investment properties, commercial real estate, manufactured homes, and private well water operations.
Rod’s done a little bit of it all in his two decades on the Olympic Peninsula. He’s been a boat owner and operator, fisherman, manager of a mobile home park, and is a frequent visitor to beautiful Lake Crescent. Hazel has been a realtor on the Olympic Peninsula for 25 years. In 2007, Hazel, Deborah Norman, and Kaylene Byrne opened BrokersGroup Real Estate Professionals and she has been the Designated Broker ever since.
A designated broker’s duty is to supervise the conduct of all licensed staff members in the office. She is responsible for all listing and sales transactions, as well as other contracts that relate to brokerage service. Hazel takes this responsibility seriously, and diligently keeps BrokersGroup up to date with Washington’s changing rules and regulations and the multiple listing services used by her clients and co-workers. Hazel takes her role seriously and serves her brokers and client with honesty and integrity.
Hazel and her husband Jim have a deep connection to Sequim. They trace their ancestry to the pioneer families that first settled the Sequim Valley. Hazel is committed to her community.
