Hazel has been a realtor on the Olympic Peninsula for 25 years. In 2007, Hazel, Deborah Norman, and Kaylene Byrne opened BrokersGroup Real Estate Professionals and she has been the Designated Broker ever since.
A designated broker’s duty is to supervise the conduct of all licensed staff members in the office. She is responsible for all listing and sales transactions, as well as other contracts that relate to brokerage service. Hazel takes this responsibility seriously, and diligently keeps BrokersGroup up to date with Washington’s changing rules and regulations and the multiple listing services used by her clients and co-workers. She does this by attending continuing education classes, both locally and at the state level. She goes above and beyond the required hours needed to renew a broker license. Hazel takes her role seriously and serves her brokers and client with honesty and integrity.
Hazel and her husband Jim have a deep connection to Sequim. They trace their ancestry to the pioneer families that first settled the Sequim Valley. Hazel is committed to her community. She is active with local events, a member of the local Pioneer Association, a member of the Sequim Museum and Arts Center, and the Sequim Prairie Grange. She is a proud grandmother of 10 and a great grandmother of two.
